I'm sure everyone is sick of hearing about this. I've been cruising the help forums both on here and on the Logitech site, and nothing's worked so far. Here's what's up. I can't get my machine to install the drivers for the Logitech F710 gamepad.

Here's what I've done. I've plugged in my controller, but it wouldn't work. I then figured that it might be a connection problem between the receiver and the game pad, so I went and downloaded F710Connection.exe from the Logitech site. I opened that, and unplugged the receiver, then took out a battery then plugged in the receiver, then replaced the battery, it told me I was connected, but my computer didn't care, so I figured it's the driver. I opened up the 'update the device drivers' in the control panel and notice that there is a yellow warning exclamation under 'Other Devices > Wireless Game Pad so I clicked it and tried to make it get the driver from the internet again... no dice. So then I went and looked for more help and found that someone said 'Hey just install 'Logitech Gaming Software' from their website - so I did, but Surprise!! it couldn't detect any controllers. So then I read somewhere that Logitech just uses the xbox drivers, so I downloaded and installed all of them and then verified that they worked with my xbox 360 controller, and it did. But still no luck with the Logitech controller. I tried to get it to manually use the xbox drivers that I downloaded, but it didn't recognize the driver files that I downloaded. So I tried a few more times to make it work by doing the same thing in a couple of my other USB ports, and then I uninstalled the device, and reinstalled it, but it still doesn't work and still shows the little warning exclamation when I'm looking in the device manager. Any suggestions besides having Microsoft e-mail Logitech and tell them to make their own drivers?
